Farm products lovingly prepared by us

We lovingly prepare a wide variety of farm products at the Bauernhof zu Falentör in Kastelruth/Castelrotto.

Our farm products are always something very special. In summer we collect raspberries, elderberry blossoms and redcurrants, which we then use as the basis for tasty jams and fruit syrups. We also make syrups of peppermint and balm, for which we use recipes from grandma’s day that we then refine, depending on the individual consistency of the fruits.

A hearty breakfast provides a good start to the day

In the mornings on our farm we prepare you a sumptuous breakfast, in which our in-house jams,fruit salad, cheese cream, syrups and farm eggs are a must and are accompanied by fresh butter and cheese from the dairy farm, which we also supply with our milk. The baker supplies us with fresh bread every morning. We procure our South Tyrolean ham (dry-cured, lightly smoked) and assorted cold meats from the local butcher. We also bake our own bread, cakes or a Hefezopf (Austrian yeast plait), which you can enjoy as part of our breakfast buffet as cocoa, tea and coffee.

Dinner on the farm

After an eventful day in winter, we’re happy to pamper you with Tyrolean specialities. On request, we’ll conjure up a 3-course Tyrolean menu for you in our in-house kitchen on the farm, using only our in-house products from the farm, whenever possible.
